Welcome 2008!

Can I believe it's another new year already? Of course I can, they come every 365 days like it or not. Those days do seem to go faster and faster however! I remember sitting on the couch watching my mom in the kitchen and whining to her that I was bored or asking her what should I do or who should I call... someone would inevitably chime in, "Ghostbusters". Anyway, those days are long past and now I'm the one standing in the kitchen replying to my girls to go do a puzzle or color a picture. The tables sure turn quickly! I know, I know... I'm the one who chose to turn them a little quicker than others. I'm not complaining, simply stating the facts!
So what are we up to this year? What aren't we up to may be a shorter list. I imagine 2008 is going to be our fastest year yet. My personal goal for the year.... just to keep up! I'm trying to be more organized and efficient in my home so that I can think about doing more than just the daily grind, but honestly most days that's even asking a lot! I work for another family as a nanny, I get to keep my girls with me and take care of two more kids. Usually about 15-20 hours a week. That will keep up until April when our little boy is expected to arrive. Then I'm for sure done working... outside our home at least. (I say that now, so you will slap me if I contradict myself in the future!) Then the end of May/June we anticipate a job change for Aaron and possibly even a move. Nothing is set in stone, but we are hoping some good change will come our way, we're working on opening several options.
If that doesn't sound like enough, we're also starting our own business. Good heaven we've been working our butts off! Okay my butt is really only getting bigger these days, but Aaron's is definately gone! We've been working for a few years on our company Proclamations and have finally chosen a niche to start working in. We start marketing the first part of our company the end of this month and throughout February. It's exciting and exhausting! You can check out our Proclamations link to get a better idea of what we're doing. It's not finished, we have some stuff to edit and stuff to add, but we're making progress.
So basically we have no idea how 2008 is going to unfold! We're working hard and hoping all goes as smooth as possible!
Inevitably it will be a fun ride... here we go!
