I neglected to blog anything in 2009. (well, okay... one Christmas post) It was a crazy year. I will (another night) write a little more on the details of the craziness. For now I just want to share a few of my favorite events from 2009. It's a good thing I took a few photos... amidst all the chaos I may have forgotten what a great year it was!
February:
We spent Valentines in gorgeous cabin at East Zion Development with our wonderful friends/business partners Aaron and Jana.

We enjoyed spending the day with Matt Townsend and his lovely wife Mardi.
(If you ever get the chance to go to one of his marriage seminars... do it!)
That evening we had dinner and an intimate concert with Hillary Weeks.
That was such a huge treat for me.
She is an amazing LDS/Christian singer songwriter whom I just adore.
Her music touches my soul and makes me want to be a better person.
March:
For our 7 year wedding anniversary my sweet mother took care of my children so Aaron and I could have a little getaway. We stayed at the Wolf Creek Lodge in Liberty, Utah and went snowboarding at Powder Mountain.
Bliss.
We stopped at the Liberty Cemetery where my big brother rests.
He could not be in a more beautiful place.
We had a Bodell family reunion at Lagoon.
Grammy Sherrie, Grandpa Tony, Aaron's siblings and all 12 (now 14) cousins.
We all had a great time!
September:
The weekend before Aaron started teaching in Magna
we went camping at Lake Powell with several friends.
What's better than owning a boat? Having friends that own a boat!

Aaron's parent kept Jake for us which was SO nice. We did miss him, but not having to worry about him in the water made for a very relaxing weekend.
And I thought 2009 was our hardest year yet... it's good to put things in perspective.
