I posted the last photos of our house construction! It is all done... well... as done as it's going to be before we move in. We close this Monday, March 29th. Aaron has the week off so we can go to St. George and load all of our things to move up and set up house. I am so excited to unpack with the anticipation of not having to pack it all up again in a year. I think the very longest we have gone (in the last 8 years of marriage) was the two years we were in New York. We have boxed up and moved at least 10 times in those last 8 years.

Speaking of years, we did celebrate our 8 year anniversary this month. We had a nice quiet anniversary this year, as our gift to each other (for the next 30 years) is our house. I was surprised when Aaron came home from work earlier than normal with this gorgeous bouquet of flowers. I LOVE fresh flowers, and these were quite lovely.

My grandma also loved them... and made sure to let me know that when she dies (something that I am quite sure will never happen... she is amazingly healthy) she wants flowers just like these spread on her casket. Good to know, right?!

We have enjoyed these last few months at Grandma's house. We have been able to see my cousins and play games nearly every weekend. Something we all enjoy. The kids love playing in Grandma's backyard. Swinging, finding worms in her flower bed, and running around with Max... the dog. I will miss that swing and her fun backyard. It will be a while before we have a backyard of our own. It was suggested that we let the ground kind of settle back in before planting much?! That is something we do look forward to doing eventually.

It may be a little while before the next blog comes... I have a feeling I will have my work cut out for me over the next little while! I am thrillled!
